Exclusive Castle by Loch Ness

The Grade A listed Aldourie Castle nestles amidst mature parkland on the south shore of Loch Ness. This is Highland scenery at its best, and yet Aldourie is surprisingly accessible, being a mere 4 miles from the outskirts of Inverness and 30 minutes from Inverness Airport. Dating back to the 17th Century and much enlarged since, the Castle is currently being restored to its former glory, reflecting the life and times of a wealthy Highland laird of the 19th Century.

Aldourie Castle is available to rent on an exclusive use basis. Finished to the highest standards, the Castle features some of the finest in furniture and fabrics. The Castle can accommodate 28 people within 14 beautiful bedrooms, all with stunning views to Loch Ness or surrounding parkland. You can cook for yourself or we can arrange for a personal cook to do everything for you. The ground floor has a very comfortable drawing room, a well-stocked library, a hall suited to music & dance, a snug sitting room, a billiards room with full size table and large plasma TV, and a dining room. This is heritage living at its best.

Aldourie is also the perfect base from which to explore the wider Highlands, a vast range of attractions being easily reached on a day out. You can enjoy wonderful walks throughout the Estate: along the Loch Ness shore; through the 150-year old arboretum to the Victorian greenhouses and beyond. Cycling, golf, salmon & trout fishing and wildlife watching are readily available on or close to the Estate, as are water-sports (subject to prior booking). The Estate also has three delightful cottages, sleeping from 4 to 6 people.
