Dores is a picturesque village by the shores of Loch Ness in a quiet and tranquil setting. The Birches B&B overlooks the long sandy beach at Dores. This, the only real beach on Loch Ness which sweeps around Dores bay, is popular with locals and tourists alike. A magnet for photographers as well as water sports enthusiasts. The Birches is just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach.
Apart from the obvious attraction to water sports enthusiasts and Loch Ness monster spotters, Dores is an ideal location for walkers, cyclists and a good touring base for the lovely Scottish countryside. A couple of minutes’ walk takes you to the Dores Inn where tasty lunches and dinners can be enjoyed on the loch-side.
Accommodation at "The Birches” consists of, one double and one twin en-suite upstairs bedrooms, with lovely views of the loch and hills beyond. 1 double en-suite bedroom downstairs.
All bedrooms have colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
