The Boys Dormitory is a very spacious one bedroom apartment positioned on the vaulted top floor of the old monastery with huge arched stone mullioned windows. The apartment is one of only a few in the entire abbey to enjoy views in three directions, with every window offering either sensational views of the landscape or Loch Ness. The apartment is decorated in the most luxurious style combining quality antique and modern furnishings featuring Victorian floorboards, antique paintings and prints and vintage lighting sourced from a local chapel with wonderful attention to detail throughout. The bright and airy large living room and open plan kitchen area offers the very finest level of comfort. The view from the large arched stone mullioned living room window straight up Loch Ness is truly spectacular: a perfect place to while away the afternoon reading a good novel or watching for the legendary Loch Ness Monster. The gorgeous master bedroom features a massive stone mullioned arched window overlooking the Cloister Gardens, the turrets and towers of the Abbey and the mountains beyond. Watching the stars at night from the comfort of your bed through this fantastic window is a magical experience. King-sized antique brass and iron bed, Victorian oak church pew, luxurious bed linens and choice of feather or fibre pillows ensure total relaxation and comfort for the duration of your stay.
Some call them extras, we call them normal. The apartment will provide you with a 32" flat screen TV, DVD player, I-pod dock, library of books, DVDs and CDs, board games, luxury white bed linen, towels and dressing gowns, toiletries, welcome pack including coffee, tea, milk, shortbread, wine, parking space, Wi-Fi in club lounge downstairs, electricity, gas, central heating and of course all the Highland Club facilities are available to you during your stay at the Abbey. You will be met on arrival and shown to the apartment. Concierge services available to arrange stalking, hunting, fishing, white water rafting, boat hire and other outdoor pursuits. The property is at the top of three flights of stairs with no lift access. The climb is well worth the effort as the views are amongst the best in the Abbey.
