As you enter Craigdarroch House Hotel you will be immediately struck by the special ambience:- old fashioned wood panelling, high cornice ceilings and period furnishings. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with most overlooking Loch Ness and some having ornate, 4 poster beds.  Back downstairs, settle into the deep cushioned sofas of the drawing room in front of the roaring log fire, or relax in the cosy lounge bar and sample some of the 130 varieties of malt whisky on offer. Unquestionably the finest views of Loch Ness from any property around the loch can be seen from the windows of Craigdarroch.

All the bedrooms at Craigdarroch House are fully en suite and equipped with hospitality trays, LCD digital TVs, direct dial phones and hair dryers.

Craigdarroch has a full hotel liquor license and both bar and wine list offer superb choice.  Dine by candle light in the dining room; book early to guarantee a window table! The restaurant and bar are open to residents and non-residents.

The surrounding area is full of natural beauty, with fascinating walks along the loch and through the forests at Foyers, Dores, Inverfarigaig and Fort Augustus. Some of the world's best boating, fishing and shooting are found nearby, as well as a huge range of scenic, top quality golf courses. There is also biking, horse riding, canoeing and kayaking, plenty of castles and battlefields for an historic day out or the chance to nose the fine whiskies of the Highlands' distilleries.

Craigdarroch House Hotel is registered for civil wedding ceremonies.  Exclusive use is available and couples can choose from the conservatory, drawing room or the garden for their ceremony, all with picturesque Loch Ness as a backdrop to their special day. Should a church ceremony be preferred, there is a small, pretty, Highland church on the hill 100 yards above the hotel. After the ceremony, guests can make their way to the hotel where they will experience a wonderful wedding reception overlooking the loch.
