Experience excellent hospitality in our welcoming country house, set in spectacular Highland countryside.  Whether you’re looking for a relaxing holiday or an activity break, there is something to suit everyone. Enjoy walking or cycling in beautiful Strathnairn or spend the day shopping or sightseeing in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.

Located 8 miles south of Inverness, and just 10 minutes off the A9, Dunlichity House is an ideal base for those wishing an idyllic, peaceful holiday location, whilst being at the heart of all the Highlands has to offer.

Our 4* graded Bed & Breakfast accommodation offers 3 en-suite rooms in the east wing of Dunlichity House.

A private entrance and hallway lead to all rooms which are non-smoking, and equipped with television/CD/DVD player, tea/coffee facilities, and hairdryer. A selection of DVDs is available for guests to view in their rooms. An iron/ironing board, child’s cot and high chair are also available for use, subject to availability.

Tartan is the theme in our B&B wing, with each room decorated in calming creams with either Royal Stewart, Ancient Douglas, or Black Watch tartan accessories and curtains.
All bedrooms have open views across our fishing lochans and the open countryside beyond.

Before starting your day’s adventure, enjoy a hearty Scottish Breakfast in our comfortable breakfast room, where you may see roe deer wandering on the lawn and woodlands beyond. After a day’s sightseeing, relax in the guest lounge or outside in the garden. A covered seated area outside at the entrance arch is available for smokers.

Several championship golf courses (including Castle Stuart, the home of the 2011 Scottish Open), excellent river and loch fishing, Loch Ness and Scotland’s renowned castle and whisky distillery trails are all within close reach.
