Self Catering Accommodation Loch Ness

Peacefully situated alongside the River Moriston Falls at the entrance to Glenmoriston, one of the loveliest glens in the Highlands. Invermoriston Holidays offer a peacefully secluded yet central location in spectacular scenery only a few hundred metres from Loch Ness and just a short stroll from village amenities.

Our 4 star Glencroft Cottage and 3 Star Moriston Chalets for up to four people, and Moriston Studios for two are the ideal place to spend your holiday. There is plenty to do nearby, where you can revel in the variety of wildlife which abounds in this peaceful area. Perfect for walkers and cyclists we are located alongside the Great Glen Way and walks through craggy forested hills and winding pastureland with magnificent views are here for you to enjoy. Invermoriston Holiday Chalets is a great base for exploring the Highlands. The ancient Caledonian forests in Glen Affric and Glen More, historic Fort Augustus and the Caledonian Canal, the Black Isle, the Isle of Skye, Aviemore and the Cairngorms, Oban, Fort William, Ullapool, Inverness, Fort George and Ben Nevis are all within an easy day's round trip.

Interested in doing as well as seeing? Nearby there is horse riding and pony trekking for all levels of experience, cruises and fishing trips on nearby Loch Ness from Fort Augustus. Delve into historical at Urquhart Castle, Fort George,  Culloden Moor visitor centre, Cawdor Castle and much more.  enjoy traditional music at an impromptu Ceilidh. Look for wildlife all around you including Dolphins on the nearby Moray Firth and of course Nessie from the shores of Loch Ness - a short 800 metres away along the River Moriston past waterfalls, rapids and the old bridge reputedly built by Thomas Telford!

And or course when you come back to base to relax from your day out, you can keep in touch with your favourite programmes  on  Freesat TV .If you need internet access  we can provide WiFi connection in our Reception area, where there is also a payphone in case your mobile service is unavailable.  In keeping with the times, all our accommodation is now non-smoking, and we do our best to help you recycle as much of  your waste that you cannot re-use as the local facilities and infrastructure permit.
