On the coast just north of Inverness overlooking the River Brora, the Royal Marine is a charming 21 bedroom country house hotel, a perfect venue for golfing breaks, leisure breaks with Spa treatments, conferences and training courses.
The Royal Marine Hotel at Brora is a hidden gem in the Highlands, adjacent to Brora golf course it is an obvious choice for golfers and with all our other facilities it makes an ideal family leisure break. Our leisure complex comprises of an Indoor Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi and Gym. In-house beauty and complementary therapists, “Bliss”, offer a wide range of treatments for both women and men. Including Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Nail Care, Skincare, Waxing and Tanning.
There is also the snooker table within the original building, for residents to enjoy an after dinner game. The hotel has boats on Loch Brora to hire and a ghillie can be arranged on request.
Our two restaurants serves an excellent range of formal and informal dishes. The Bistro bar offers informal dining and Lorimer’s restaurant provides more formal dining. This combination makes the Royal Marine hotel a well known and popular venue for dining out.
Bedrooms
The hotel comprises of 21 guestrooms, all of which were renovated in 2008, these twin/double rooms are tastefully decorated in rich classic colours and warm textures that hint of the original period house. Fresh en suite bath/shower rooms with Penhaligon toiletries. Plasma TVs and all you would expect to find in a Four Star hotel bedroom.
Choose from a Standard, Classic, Master or Honeymoon Four Poster Room. There are also rooms with the option to have a Sofa Bed, Extra Bed or a Cot depending on the requirement for each family.
