Countdown to Rockness is on!

On my way to Inverness today just outside the village of Dores I noticed that some work has started preparing the grounds for Rockness 2012 one or two lorries turned up and a few signs have been erected for what I believe is possibly the best concert ever and driving past in the sunshine it is such an impressive location overlooking Loch Ness. there must be a million pictures taken from the festival entrance as tourists travelling from Inverness to Loch Ness get their first heart stopping view of the loch. The picture below is the view from the roadside and the view you get at Rockness, fabulous right now! 

Hope the weather stays like it is right now it will be fabulous.

Disney Film “Brave” Out Soon!

Disney Brave Film

Disney•Pixar film Brave features some of Scotland’s biggest stars.

Disney to launch this new animated adventure in more than 70 countries across the world this summer, and comes from the team behind box office smashes such as Toy Story, Up and Finding Nemo.

Scotland’s scenery, humour and culture is showcased on an unprecedented scale in a way not seen since Braveheart.

Tapping into Scotland’s rich history of epic battles and mystical legends, Brave features a new flame haired heroine, the courageous Merida (the voice of Kelly Macdonald), who confronts tradition and challenges destiny to change her fate. Other characters include King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson); Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane).

Brave will be shown in UK cinemas from August 2012, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ in select cinemas.
