Set in peaceful parkland, this fine castle is packed with enough art and antiques to keep connoisseurs happy all day. It contains fine French furniture, a major collection of paintings and English and Chinese porcelain.
The castle itself was home of the Brodie family until the late 20th century but the family’s association with the area goes back further than the building of the castle in the 16th-century.
In spring, the castle’s grounds are carpeted with a unique collection of daffodils, developed here by generations of the Brodie family. Visitors can explore the sheltered woodland walks and stroll by the pond to catch glimpses of the estate’s varied wildlife from the specially constructed hides.
The castle’s shop, tearoom, adventure playground and picnic area round off the visit for all of the family.
Brodie Castle is in the care of the National Trust for Scotland. It is off A96, 4.5 miles west of Forres and 24 miles east of Inverness.
The castle and converted stable block can be hired out for weddings, corporate and private functions. Please contact the castle for further information
