Trees for Life Green Day Out

Green Days out are free 'work' days helping to regenerate the Caledonian Forest with Trees for Life doing a mix of jobs for all abilities. including planting, collecting pine cones and roots and more.

every second Wednesday .....

Weds 29th there's a trip to Glen Affric, back to fertilise trees planted last year and fix fences at Coire Sneachtda.
Great location, but a long walk in and steep ground.

As usual pick up points will be Findhorn 0800, Forres 0815, Inverness 0900. Let me know if you want to come.

Note that on the nursery days Jill can pick up in Drumnadrochit from the Inverness bus, or from F Augustus, otherwise you need to make your own way there.
Please let her know if you're coming, preferably a couple of days in advance.  Email  or phone 01320 340242.

Trees for Life is the only organisation specifically dedicated to restoring the Caledonian Forest to a target area of 600 sq miles in the Scottish Highlands. We work in partnership with the Forestry Commission, RSPB and private landowners, and own and manage the 10,000 acre Dundreggan Estate.

Each year we run over 45 Conservation Holidays. Hundreds of volunteers join us annually in planting over 100,000 trees in protected areas, and carry out other restoration work such as seed collection and propagation of young trees and rare woodland plants. We have planted over 923,000 trees since 1989.
